Feeding Your Wedding Weekend, From the Bridal Suite to the Welcome Party

Getting-ready spreads delivered from 8 AM, rehearsal dinners and welcome parties: how Temecula couples feed their people all weekend long.

Most couples plan the wedding food around one moment: cocktail hour. But a wedding is rarely one meal. There’s the morning in the suite, the rehearsal the night before, and often a welcome party for guests who have traveled in. Each of those moments needs feeding, and each one is easier when the food simply shows up, beautifully done.

Here’s how we help couples plan the rest of the weekend.

The Getting-ready Suite: Make Sure Everyone Actually Eats

One of the most overlooked details of a wedding day is whether the wedding party eats at all. Between hair, makeup, photos, champagne and nerves, it’s surprisingly easy to reach the aisle on nothing but a mimosa.

A spread in the suite means no one has to leave to find food.

We deliver a curated spread straight to the bridal suite, the groom’s suite or wherever your party is getting ready. Think savory sandwiches, fresh seasonal fruit, pastries and artisan cheeses: food that’s easy to pick at between appointments, and easy to eat without touching up your lipstick.

Early delivery is available. If the glam starts early, we can deliver as early as 8:00 AM on request, so everyone starts the day fed and energized.

What Works Well in a Suite

  • A brunch board. Croissants, waffles, fruit and something savory. Our Charcuterie Brunch Board for 20 suits a full bridal party.
  • Sandwich bundles. Six full sandwiches, sliced in half, with chips. Something more filling for a long day. See the Sandwich Bundles.
  • Individual boxes. Easy to grab on the way to photos, with nothing to share or serve.
  • Something sweet. A few brownies or cannoli go a long way with a bridal party.

Because a happy wedding party is a well-fed wedding party.

The Rehearsal Dinner: Intimate or Open to Everyone

The rehearsal is usually the first time your closest people are all in one room. Some couples keep it small, with charcuterie and cocktails for the wedding party and immediate family. Others host a private rehearsal dinner, then open the evening to friends and family for drinks and grazing.

Either way, the food should invite people to mingle rather than sit through courses. Abundant boards and shareable displays, with premium cheeses, cured meats, seasonal fruit and touches inspired by Temecula Wine Country, keep guests moving and talking.

The Welcome Party: The First Party of the Weekend

If guests are arriving from out of town, a welcome party sets the tone for everything that follows. It’s relaxed, there’s no schedule to keep, and it gives you real time with people before the big day gets busy.

A grazing table or a few large boards work beautifully here. Guests gather around the food naturally, and the display does double duty as décor. For larger groups, our guide to choosing between a grazing table and boards walks through the options.

Planning the Whole Weekend at Once

Planning every food moment together saves time and avoids gaps. A few tips from our kitchen:

  1. List every moment first. Suite delivery, rehearsal, welcome party and cocktail hour are each their own plan, with their own timing and guest count.
  2. Share delivery details early. Suite room numbers, venue access and the name of a day-of contact all help the morning run smoothly.
  3. Tell us about dietary needs up front. We note them for every part of the weekend.
  4. Book your date. Wedding dates fill quickly, and one booking can cover the whole weekend.

Tell us your date, venue and guest count, and we’ll put together a plan for the whole weekend.
