Grazing Theory Lavish Charcuterie wants everyone to be able to browse our menu, plan an event and place an order on our website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control, screen magnification or other assistive technology.

Our Goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, the widely used standard for accessible websites.
What We've Done
- Every page has a clear structure with headings and landmarks, and a "Skip to content" link.
- The whole site works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline so you can see where you are.
- Text and buttons meet contrast requirements; our brand orange is never used for text on light backgrounds.
- Photos have text descriptions; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Forms have labels, and errors are explained in words, not color alone.
- You can zoom in up to 200% and more, including pinch-zoom on phones, without losing content.
- Moving effects (the photo pans on our boards and sliding panels) stop when your device is set to reduce motion, and the announcement bar can be paused.
- Brie, our chat assistant, says clearly that it's automated, works with a keyboard and screen readers, and can pass you to a person at any time.
- We check pages with automated accessibility testing and by hand with a keyboard, on phones and computers.
Known Limitations
- Payment form: card details are entered in a secure form provided by Square, our payment company. We don't control its design. If you have trouble with it, text or email us and we'll help you place your order.
- Photos of our food: some show seasonal ingredients that vary; descriptions say what's pictured, and each item's page lists what's included.
- Other websites: links to Instagram, Facebook, Yelp, Google Maps and Square gift cards go to sites with their own accessibility.
We're working to improve these, and we check the site again whenever we add new features.
