How to Store and Serve Your Charcuterie Board
Picked up your board? How to keep it fresh, when to take it out of the fridge, and food-safety tips from our Old Town Temecula kitchen.
By Gina LaMora · · 2 min read

Your board is made to order in our kitchen and handed over ready to serve. A little care between pickup and party keeps it looking (and tasting) the way it left us.
Getting It Home
Every board is tightly wrapped and fits on a car seat. Keep it flat, keep it out of the sun, and head straight home or to the party.

Wrapped and sealed for the drive.
Keep It Chilled
Yes, your board can go in the fridge, and it should. Keep it chilled until shortly before guests arrive, and enjoy it the same day.
Serving and the 4-hour Rule
Once a board is out on the table, keep an eye on the clock. Food that has been unrefrigerated for more than 4 hours should be thrown away; that’s a food-safety standard, and it’s part of our terms. On a hot day, set the board somewhere shaded and cool.

Leave the lid on until it’s time to serve.
Allergies and Dietary Needs
Our products are made in a kitchen that handles all the main allergens. Let us know about any allergies or dietary needs at checkout, and if a guest has a severe allergy, talk to us first.
Wood Boards and Stands
If your order came on a rented wood board or with cone display stands, bring them back to our kitchen within 48 hours of pickup or delivery and we’ll refund the deposit. In Temecula and Murrieta, we can also collect them from your porch.
